Not only has the Q70 been enhanced, but a sub-model has been added to the lineup. INFINITI has increased the wheelbase of the Q70 by 5.9 inches and designated the longer car the Q70L. The Q70 now features LED headlights with integrated fog lamps and a mesh grille trimmed in bright chrome. . The added chrome continues on the back of the car with a strip on the smoother trunk lid. INFINITI designers added horizontal headlights and changed the rear bumper to give the Q70 a sportier appearance.
The 2015 Q70 has leather seats and handmade wood trim. Both the driver and passenger seats are heated and have 10 adjustable power settings with 2 lumbar supports. Rear seats are also heated, and passengers enjoy the convenience of readings lamps and 12-volt power outlets. The Q70L affords rear passengers additional legroom.
INFINITI addressed the issue of road noise in the 2015 Q70 by adding more sound muffling material in the body panels and enhancing the door seals. Infiniti’s Active Noise Control employs door speakers to help in the effort to reduce noise in the passenger compartment.
Information and Entertainment
The Q70 features a seven-inch full-color display screen for the information and audio systems. Occupants can enjoy the 16-speaker Bose Studio surround sound and the convenience of Infiniti’s enhanced intelligent key system. This key-based technology allows each driver to have their preferences for audio, climate control, and the hard-drive based navigation saved and automatically adjusted. The Q70 also has Infiniti’s Connection Telematics.
