The fashion designer, Zac Posen, modified the features paint that changes color and texture from front to rear. The design was influenced by Japanese pen drawings and samurai armor. He calls it a “shadow effect” as it goes from silver to a darker gray. The paint finish took 32 coats. The interior is lined with plush carpet and the door and dash accents are made from shagreen (stingray skin). This was inspired by the car’s transmogrifying body textures and colors. The shagreen is rough to the touch. The designer also designed a mobile phone case of matching red leather.
